Charge and stability of strange quark matter at finite temperature
نویسنده
چکیده
By means of the quark mass densityand temperaturedependent model, it is found that the negative charge and the higher strangeness fraction are in favor of the stability of strange quark matter at finite temperature. A critical baryon number density nBc has been found. The strange quark matter is unstable when nB < nBc. The charge and strangeness fraction dependence of stability for strange quark matter is addressed. PACS number: 12.39.Ki,14.20.J,11.10.Wx, 12.38.A Typeset using REVTEX

Multi fluidity and Solitary wave stability in cold quark matter: core of dense astrophysical objects
Considering the magneto-hydrodynamic equations in a non-relativistic multi uid framework, we study the behavior of small amplitude perturbations in cold quark matter. Magneto-hydrodynamic equations, along with a suitable equation of state for the cold quark matter, are expanded using the reductive perturbation method. It is shown that in small amplitude approximation, such a medium should be co...
متن کاملStrange quark matter attached to string cloud in general scalar tensor theory of gravitation
Bianchi type-VI0 space time with strange quark matter attached to string cloud in Nordtvedt [1] general scalar tensor theory of gravitation with the help of a special case proposed by Schwinger [2] is obtained. The field equations have been solved by using the anisotropy feature of the universe in the Bianchi type-VI0 space time. Some important features of the model, thus obtained, have been di...
متن کاملHigh-density QCD: the effects of strangeness
I discuss the zero temperature phase diagram of QCD, as a function of baryon density and strange quark mass. The noteworthy points are that at sufficiently high density chiral symmetry is always restored, and at low strange quark mass there need be no phase transition between nuclear matter and quark matter. I comment on the possibility that introducing a strange quark may make it easier to see...
متن کاملCurvature energy effects on strange quark matter nucleation at finite density.
We consider the effects of the curvature energy term on thermal strange quark matter nucleation in dense neutron matter. Lower bounds on the temperature at which this process can take place are given and compared to those without the curvature term.

The phase diagram of nuclear matter offers fascinating features for heavy ion physics and astrophysics when extended to strangeness and antimatter. We will discuss some regions of this phase diagram as strange matter at zero temperature, hypermatter at high densities and the antiworld at high densities and strangeness fraction. 1 Strange Matter and Hypermatter Relativistic heavy ion collisions ...
